Anne Cooper has substantive experience in representing health care providers in health planning in Illinois. This experience includes counseling clients in the Certificate of Need process, including preparation and submission of certificate of need and certificate of exemption applications and representation of clients before the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board. Ms. Cooper’s also represents health care providers in Medicare and Medicaid audits appeals. She also focuses on health care compliance work and other regulatory matters. Her experience includes representation of institutional health care providers including hospitals, health systems, medical practices, specialty hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and a variety of other health care sector providers.
Ms. Cooper is volunteer tax preparer with Ladder Up, preparing tax return for low-income individuals and families in the Chicago area. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Chicago and currently serves on the management committee and advocacy council, which works with various community stakeholders to educate the public on health issues associated with the growing childhood obesity epidemic.
