Members of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry elected Polsinelli Shughart attorney G. Edgar “Eddie” James to the 12-member Governing Committee of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry for a three-year term. The organization is composed of approximately 6000 construction lawyers in the United States and internationally from private law firms, government entities and corporate in-house counsel.
“This honor is reflective of the history of leadership Eddie has shown over the years to the ABA, the construction industry and his clients,” said Roy Bash, chair of the Construction practice at Polsinelli Shughart. “Eddie is very committed to this organization which he has demonstrated through his role chairing various committees. It is just another example of how Eddie stays abreast of industry changes and their impact on his clients.”
Members of the Governing Committee of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry represent all segments of the construction industry: owners, design professionals, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, insurers, lenders and sureties. The Governing Committee steers the activities of the Forum. Members of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry are active in the industry and author publications and books on construction related topics, as well as sponsor several seminars each year.
