Alan K. Parver focuses his practice on health care law with particular emphasis on representing providers, suppliers and manufacturers on legislative and regulatory issues pertaining to third-party reimbursement, coverage and coding. A significant portion of his practice is concentrated on Medicare coverage and reimbursement for medical equipment and technology.
Clients of Mr. Parver include high-tech health care manufacturers and providers as well as several start-up ventures in health care. He currently serves as counsel to the National Alliance for Infusion Therapy, the National Association for the Support of Long Term Care and the National Home Infusion Association. Additionally, Mr. Parver has played an active role in the passage of legislation to establish Medicare reimbursement for certain high-tech services and equipment.
A frequent lecturer on health care policies and issues, Mr. Parver is also the author of several articles on such topics as specialized nutrition support and the complexities of obtaining Medicare coverage for new medical products and technology. Currently, he devotes a considerable portion of his practice to working with manufacturers and providers ranging from long term care facilities to infusion providers on issues resulting from the enactment of the health reform legislation.
