He regularly represents developers and landowners in planning, zoning, and real estate development matters, and regularly appears before planning commissions, boards of zoning appeals, city councils, and other governmental entities.
Mr. Holland has successfully assisted clients in obtaining approvals of rezoning applications, special use permits, conditional use permits and administrative permits. Drawing on that practical experience, Mr. Holland has represented rock quarries, apartment complexes, mixed-use developments, nursing care/assisted living facilities, warehouse and distribution centers, residential subdivisions, business parks, large commercial developments and wireless communications facilities.
An important adjunct is Mr. Holland’s significant experience in economic development incentives such as tax increment financing, real and personal property tax exemptions, industrial revenue bonds and various state income tax credit programs.
