Businesses need to engage in the political process. That was the message simply stated from former Hewlett Packard Chief Executive Officer Carly Fiorina who made an appearance at the firm May 15, and challenged Denver executives to better advocate for their businesses by increasing their political involvement. Fiorina, who also served as a high level executive for AT&T and Lucent, spoke to more than 75 Denver attorneys, clients and contacts during three one-hour sessions at the firm.
“For the longest time, politics was one world and business was another,” said Fiorina who ran unsuccessfully for Senate in 2010. “But today, politics and business are one world. We need to get our economy going and growing.”
