About Asher Funk
Asher D. Funk represents health care providers, corporations and individuals in civil and criminal actions, and government investigations, primarily involving health care fraud and the False Claims Act.
Before joining Polsinelli Shughart, Mr. Funk gained experience with False Claims Act practice through his representation of relators (whistleblowers) in qui tam cases involving Medicare, Medicaid, federal grant and government contracts fraud. This knowledge allows him to help clients navigate the process of False Claims Act cases and investigations.
Mr. Funk’s practice also involves a wide range of health care regulatory matters affecting hospitals and health systems, including compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, Medicare reimbursement rules, conditions of payment and participation.
About Joan Killgore
Joan B.
