John Petersen has developed extensive experience in the acquisition, development and financing of significant real estate projects throughout the Midwest. Of particular note is his experience in forging public-private partnerships utilizing tax credits, employment incentives and special obligation bond financing.
Mr. Petersen draws on more than five years of senior governmental experience as Deputy Chief Counsel to U.S. Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) and Chief Counsel to former Kansas Gov. Mike Hayden. This experience, coupled with his 24 years of private practice, provides Mr. Petersen a unique perspective from which to assist clients in dealing with governmental agencies at the local, state and federal levels.
