Melissa S. Ho

Melissa S. Ho practices in the areas of government investigations and white-collar criminal defense. She has experience representing and advising individuals and corporations who are the target of complex governmental and regulatory investigations. Ms. Ho advises clients in all stages of litigation including pre-indictment, post-indictment and appellate review.  Complementing her experience in criminal matters, Ms. Ho has experience handling parallel civil litigation matters, administrative law proceedings and professional licensing board matters.

Ms. Ho has the ability to analyze a case from multiple vantage points and is uniquely positioned to counsel clients on both the immediate effects of criminal investigations as well as long-range planning for collateral consequences.  She is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, a former felony crimes prosecutor and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.  For those with international matters, Ms. Ho is involved with Mackrell International and has access to and relationships with law firms all over the world.
