Mary B. Martin

Of Counsel
Mary B. Martin is of counsel in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice group. Ms. Martin’s practice concentrates on business restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy matters. She primarily represents financially troubled companies in both out-of-court workouts and Chapter 11 reorganizations.

Ms. Martin has represented clients in a broad range of financial restructuring and bankruptcy matters, including as debtor’s counsel, creditors’ counsel, counsel to trustees, counsel to committees of unsecured creditors, counsel to receivers, and counsel to assignees for the benefit of creditors. Ms. Martin also is experienced in enforcement of creditors’ remedies under the UCC and other distressed transactions.

Prior to starting her practice in 1998, Ms. Martin served as a judicial extern for The Honorable George B. Nielsen, Jr. of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona.

Ms. Martin is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Arizona State Bar. Ms. Martin has published articles in the area of financial restructuring.
