2013 Health Care Regulatory Update

With the ongoing implementation of the historic reform legislation, there were significant changes in 2012 to the legal and regulatory landscape that will affect hospitals and other health care providers in 2013 and beyond. These changes will impact your clinical operations, your Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, your workforce, your relationship with physicians, and more.

This program will provide a comprehensive update on the significant legal and regulatory changes from 2012 that are important to health care facilities. Presenters represent thought leaders with significant and diverse experience in the health care regulatory environment.

Patty Fontneau, the Executive Director of the Colorado Health Benefit Exchange has agreed to discuss the recent developments with Colorado's implementation of the health insurance exchange and the implications for providers.

To avert the so-called "fiscal cliff," on Jan. 1 Congress passed the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012, which contains a decidedly mixed bag of provisions affecting hospitals, physicians and other providers. The need to remain apprised of current issues in the field remains great for all stakeholders in the hospital and health care community. This and other current information will be addressed during this program. We hope to see you there!
