August 21, 2012 - 7:15 AM - 1:15 PM
The Symposium will provide you with answers to cutting edge questions that cross your desk on a daily basis. From FMLA to OSHA, this half day seminar will provide you the latest information you need to know about the many recent developments in human resources, employment and benefit issues. Our luncheon speaker, Commissioner Constance Barker, will discuss the EEOC's recent policy and regulatory actions, including her opposition to guidance restricting employers' use of criminal background checks and regulations limiting employer defenses under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). The Commissioner will also share her views on the future direction of the agency and the top compliance issues she believes employers (particularly small businesses) should be aware of in the current economic climate.
