Polsinelli welcomes commercial litigation attorney Caitlin Morgan as an associate in the firm’s Dallas office. The addition is part of strategic growth plan to expand the Dallas office based on clients’ needs. The arrival of Morgan occurs during a particularly exciting period of growth for Polsinelli, which recently was named by Inc. Magazine as the fastest-growing, full-service law firm in America. Dallas, the firm’s newest office, opened in 2011, but Polsinelli had held a prior Texas connection with the addition of former Dallas Congressman Martin Frost as a shareholder in its Washington D.C. office.
“We are extremely pleased to have an attorney of Caitlin’s caliber join our growing Dallas office and commercial litigation practice,” said Commercial Litigation practice chair Russ Jones, “Her litigation strengths will be a great asset to our growing team in Texas and our clients.”
Morgan has represented clients in matters involving breach of fiduciary duty, lender liability, oil and gas law, international anti-competitive practices and the federal RICO statutes, breach of contract, and negligent misrepresentation. Morgan has also represented clients in cases involving employee whistle-blower claims, the federal civil rights laws, and environmental protection liability. Her representative experience has included a wide array of clients in diverse industries, such as hotel owners, trustees, partners, large real estate companies, a private education institution, private healthcare facilities, privately-held corporations, and a Fortune 500 corporation. Morgan has also represented clients on a pro bono basis in disputes involving real estate, landlord-tenant law, and employment law.
Morgan said joining Polsinelli was a unique opportunity “to get in on the ground floor of a growing firm in Dallas.”
“Polsinelli offers me an outstanding opportunity to further develop my practice while working with some of the most seasoned attorneys and commercial litigation practitioners in the business,” Morgan said. “The firm is a natural fit for me and provides my clients with the support and professional services that only a national firm like Polsinelli can provide.”
Morgan earned her law degree, magna cum laude, in 2010 from Albany Law School. While at Albany Law School, she was the senior editor for alumni for the Albany Law Review. Morgan graduated from York University in Toronto, Canada, in 2003 with an honors bachelor of arts in political science. She is a member of the Dallas Bar Association.
