Polsinelli to host launch event November 3, 2016

Global Chamber®, an organization engaging leaders, companies, and communities in more successful cross-border trade and investment, will officially launch November 3, in Chicago, Illinois. Polsinelli will host the event at 5:30 p.m. in its 12th floor Amenity Center at 161 N. Clark St.

“Our attorneys are involved in Global Chamber Advisory Boards in other cities and we are proud to help bring this organization to Chicago,” said Anthony Nasharr, who leads Polsinelli’s Chicago office. “Our firm and our attorneys have a rich history of developing partnerships and we are looking forward to connecting more leaders to help member companies grow, reduce risk, be more productive and succeed faster.”

The Global Chamber is the first chamber of commerce focused on growing cross-border trade and investment in a collaborative way across 500 metro areas around the world. In Chicago, members include entrepreneurs, innovators, and thought leaders who share a passion for international business success and closing the resource gaps that organizations face when expanding globally.

“We provide global connections, working to bring key services and support for members, sponsors, and partners around the world,” said Executive Director for Global Chamber Chicago, Juan Davila. Members have access to resources such as in-person and virtual international business events, an online global career center, mentoring, trusted connections, training, video content, trade articles, and more.

"Those of us who engage with global business have a special connection with each other,” said Doug Bruhnke, founder and CEO of Global Chamber. “It is that connection that keeps us tied together even as we're doing business far from home. Global leaders benefit by staying connected to share best practices and trusted connections. We facilitate this through our global website portal, events, education, mentoring, business introductions and more via the Global Chamber global network.”

Polsinelli’s Chicago office has more than doubled in size in recent years and reflects the vitality and diversity of its location – a truly global city where diverse legacy industries combine with thriving technology and life sciences sectors to create unparalleled opportunities. In addition to providing pro bono representation to qualified organizations, Polsinelli’s Chicago attorneys engage with the community, cultivating relationships through involvement in a wide range of charities and civic organizations.
