National law firm Polsinelli welcomes John Craiger as a shareholder to its Phoenix office. A litigator with extensive loan enforcement experience, Craiger will be joining Polsinelli’s Creditor’s Rights Practice, which is one of the largest in the nation.

“Joining Polsinelli’s national platform and being able to work with attorneys from New York to Los Angeles will help me achieve the business objectives of my banking and lending clients in expanded ways,” Craiger said. “The firm’s experience in state courts, federal courts and bankruptcy courts in more than 40 states will be an additional asset to my practice.”

Craiger is known for immersing himself in the business objectives of his clients and ensuring the legal counsel he provides is relevant and impactful in the context of their priorities. He represents private and public clients in federal and state court on breach of contract, trade secret and RICO claims and works with numerous corporate banking clients and lenders in the enforcement of loan documents and defense of lender liability lawsuits.

“We are very pleased to have John join the Phoenix office, expanding the footprint of our national team of Creditor’s Rights attorneys across the country,” said Brett Anders, co-chair of Polsinelli’s Loan Enforcement and Creditors’ Rights practice group. “John’s extensive trial experience and his ability to craft strategic approaches to the complex needs of our clients will complement the group well.”

In addition to loan enforcement workouts and litigation, Craiger also handles numerous judicial and non-judicial foreclosures of real property liens and personal property security interests, the placement and representation of receivers, as well as all aspects of business and commercial litigation.

“John’s many years of experience working with local and national banking clients will be an excellent addition to our Phoenix office,” said Edward F. Novak, Office Managing Partner of Polsinelli’s Phoenix office.  “We are excited to have him join our team.”

Craiger is the third in a series of recent moves by shareholders leaving large national and international firms to join Polsinelli’s Phoenix office in the past two months.  The firm has risen more than 50 spots over the past five years in the Am Law 100 annual law firm ranking.

As a community member, Craiger volunteers his time serving on the Fiesta Bowl Committee.  For the past several years, he has been recognized in Southwest Super Lawyers in the category of banking.  Craiger earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Iowa.
