The Entrepreneur Speakers Program Series is presented by The Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Center
and is intended to help entrepreneurial companies in their growing needs in every stage of their lifecycle, from start-up and later-stage technology. This program could not be provided to you without the generous support of our sponsors: Polsinelli Shughart PC, Citizens Bank & Trust, Arsalon Technologies, and The Bloch School at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. About Our Speaker:
Scott Coons joined Perceptive Software in 1995 and has piloted the company to a substantial and sustained period of growth. Early on, he refocused the company's market strategy, and under his guidance, Perceptive Software has become the fastest growing enterprise content management (ECM) software developer and one of the top 10 providers worldwide. His role today includes executive team leadership, contributions in strategic guidance, tactical implementation, and architecture/design leadership for the product's technical evolution. He began his career as a software engineer with the University of Kansas after graduating from KU with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. In 2006, Scott was honored as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® and a Computerworld Honors Laureate.
