Polsinelli Shughart welcomes Attorney Jon A. Bierman to the firm as shareholder where he will practice in the firm’s national Labor and Employment practice. Bierman’s practice focuses on representing employers in union related matters defending employers against allegations of employment discrimination and representing employers in administrative proceedings before municipal, state and federal agencies. His clients include the real estate management and health care industries, and public employers. Prior to joining Polsinelli Shughart, Bierman practiced at Gallop, Johnson & Neuman.

He also has provided counsel and defended management in Fair Labor Standards Act wage and hour claims and defended employers and property management companies and real property owners against charges of housing discrimination.

Bierman graduated with his J.D., magna cum laude, in 1998 from Saint Louis University School of Law and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Washington University in 1995. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Board of Consortium for Graduate Study and Management.
