Polsinelli Shughart PC welcomes Michael M. Tamburini to the firm, of counsel, to practice in the Financial Services Department. Tamburini will focus his practice on loan enforcement, creditors rights, and creditor bankruptcy representation in state, federal and bankruptcy courts across the nation.

Tamburini brings unique business experience to his practice having spent the past seven years serving as general counsel and in other senior level management positions within the complex and heavily regulated health care industry. Tamburini said he was attracted to Polsinelli Shughart following last year's merger which allows the firm to expand its services for clients and offer a national reach and depth that the prior legacy firms could not do on their own.

Tamburini graduated with his J.D. in 1987 from the Washington University School of Law. He earned an MBA from the University of Kansas Graduate School of Business in 1978 with a finance concentration, and a BS degree in business administration from KU in 1977.
Tamburini also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Frank W. Koger, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri. He also is a member of the Kansas and Missouri Bar Associations.
