Polsinelli Shughart PC announced that Cash K. Parker has joined the firm’s Denver office as an associate attorney. Parker will work in the business litigation practice group, focusing on complex civil litigation on behalf of corporations and individuals before state and federal courts.
Prior to joining Polsinelli Shughart, Parker clerked for the Honorable Dennis A. Graham of the Colorado Court of Appeals, where he assisted in drafting opinions in complex civil and criminal cases, many of which involved novel legal precedent. As a result of his clerkship, Parker has extensive working knowledge of the practices of the judiciary.
“It is a privilege to be among Polsinelli Shughart’s nationally recognized team of lawyers and part of the growth of the Denver office,” Parker said. “With my experience in the courts and business litigation matters, I look forward to serving the needs of our clients and firm.”
A member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations, Parker is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School, where he was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif in recognition of his academic achievements. During law school, Parker participated extensively in moot court and mock trial competitions, culminating in a national championship in the American Constitution Society National Moot Court Competition. Parker was also awarded the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Medal of Excellence. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree.
Parker volunteers as a judge for student trial and appellate competitions and as an assistant coach for the University of Colorado mock trial team. He is also a member of the Gordian Fund, a donor-advised charitable fund for young professionals.
