National law firm Polsinelli Shughart PC is pleased to welcome Shareholder Richard M. Amoroso to the firm’s Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith Litigation and Insurance Business and Regulatory law practices. Amoroso is an accomplished senior executive/attorney with more than 20 years experience working for one of Arizona's largest employers in the consumer products and insurance industries. He served most recently as president and chief executive officer of a large multi-national insurance company with offices around the United States.

Amoroso will be assisting clients in working through complex insurance matters involving regulatory issues, insurance planning and strategy, risk assessment and analysis, coverage and risk transfer.

Amoroso graduated with honors from Rutgers School of Law, and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Cornell University. While at Rutgers, he served as an editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. He is also a licensed insurance broker in 47 states and a surplus lines broker in Michigan. He moved to Arizona in 1988, and currently resides in Chandler.
Amoroso joins Polsinelli Shughart during an unprecedented time of growth for the firm. Recently, the Phoenix office relocated to the new 27-story CityScape high-rise downtown. The move is a result of the explosive growth of the Phoenix office which increased by more than one-third last year to 57 attorneys today.
