Polsinelli Shughart PC welcomes Blair H. Moses to the firm as an associate in the Business Litigation practice. Moses brings real world experience to the firm with an extensive 30-year background in health care and health care regulation. Prior to law school, Moses worked in a variety of health care roles, including as the Laboratory Director for a Phoenix area hospital, where she was responsible for maintaining federal laboratory statutes and regulatory agency requirements. This window into law sparked her desire to attend law school at a time when many adults are comfortable in their careers.
“Through my work in health care, I became interested in how law intersects with businesses and with our lives. I wanted to expand that interest and fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer,” said Moses. “Health care allows you to be an advocate, as does law, in a very fulfilling way.”
Moses says she had the full support of her husband and children to attend law school where she excelled. She earned her law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2010 and a Law, Science, and Technology Certificate with a specialty in genomics and biotechnology law. She also served as the Executive Editor of Jurimetrics, the Journal of Law, Science and Technology, the official journal for the American Bar Association’s Section on Science and Technology Law. Prior to joining the firm, Moses was a summer associate at Polsinelli Shughart in 2009, which confirmed her decision to become a lawyer was the right decision.

The Phoenix office recently relocated to the new 27-story CityScape high-rise downtown. The move is a result of the explosive growth of the Phoenix office which increased by more than a third last year to 55 attorneys.
“I’m glad I made the decision to become a lawyer,” said Moses. “All the hard work is worth it. I look forward to developing my legal career and serving clients.”
