Polsinelli Shughart PC welcomes prominent St. Louis attorney Andrew Hoyne as vice chair of its national life sciences practice effective Nov.18. Hoyne, with more than 20 years of experience as a corporate attorney serving biotechnology and life sciences clients, will join his corporate, technical and finance knowledge, with the firm’s existing multidisciplinary, integrated life sciences practice in the St. Louis region and throughout the nation. Prior to joining Polsinelli Shughart, Hoyne was a partner at Armstrong Teasdale LLP.

Hoyne represents emerging and established life sciences companies spawned by regional colleges and universities. He has helped launch and develop companies involved in cancer and cardiovascular research, medical devices and pharmaceutical products, as well as agricultural products. During his career he has helped his clients raise $100 million in capital to launch and grow life science and bio-tech companies.

Hoyne graduated from Washington University School of Law with his LL.M and his J.D. and received his B.A. from Knox College.
