Polsinelli Shughart PC welcomes Phillip P. Guttilla to the firm’s Phoenix office as a shareholder in the Business Department to practice in the firm’s Corporate Law group. Guttilla, who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), will continue his representation of businesses as outside legal counsel and of high net worth individuals in estate and asset protection planning.
Guttilla is acknowledged with the PreeminentÔ 5 out of 5 Peer Review rating by Martindale-Hubbellâ and recognized as a leading lawyer in the 2009 edition of Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Business Lawyers. He is the fifth senior attorney to join the firm’s Corporate Law practice during 2010 and his addition is part of a strategic move to deepen the firm’s corporate capabilities in Arizona.

Guttilla received his BS in Finance and Philosophy from Boston College, magna cum laude in 1992. He received his law degree from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, magna cum laude, in 1995, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and associate editor of The Arizona State Law Journal. Guttilla continued his education by completing his Masters in Taxation at ASU’s law school in 1999.
