Polsinelli Shughart PC welcomes attorney Mary M. Bannister as a shareholder in the firm’s Business department where she will focus her practice on all aspects of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions of privately owned enterprises.

She also advises private companies – from start-ups to long held family businesses – with respect to transitions of ownership, control and management, as well as negotiating and drafting general business contracts.
Additionally, Bannister also has represented borrowers and lenders in secured transactions, including structuring, negotiation and documentation of term and revolving credit facilities, working capital loans, acquisition loans and other financing arrangements.
Bannister earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1992. She earned a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Bannister is a member of the American Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
