Polsinelli Shughart welcomes all 13 attorneys from Denver-based law firm Hensley Kim, LLC effective November 1. The prominent group includes six shareholders who were previously announced as joining the firm, and seven additional attorneys.

Founded in 2002 by Darren R. Hensley and John P.J. Kim, Hensley Kim’s 13 attorneys practice corporate law, intellectual property, real estate, construction and business litigation. They join a national law firm with more than 570 attorneys with offices stretching from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C.

New shareholders to Polsinelli Shughart are Stacy A. Carpenter, Michael P. Dulin, Paul V. Franke Darren R. Hensley, John P.J. Kim and Ryan E. Warren. Other attorneys making the move include of counsel attorneys Anya P.B. Mallett, Gregory W. O’Connor and Clifford R. Pearl, and associates Gillian McKean Bidgood, Taryn A. Elliott, David P. Ganderton and Karin E. Sullivan.
The addition of Hensley Kim attorneys is occurring at an exciting period of growth for Polsinelli Shughart. In 2011, the firm opened Dallas and Los Angeles offices, and added more than 39 attorneys nationwide to help meet clients’ needs. The National Law Journal ranked Polsinelli Shughart, “the third fastest growing law firm in the country.”
In April, a group of 11 Denver health care attorneys joined Polsinelli citing the firm’s strong commitment to health care law, and extensive national resources. The Denver office has nearly doubled in size in the past year to 49 lawyers. Commander, who is vice chair of the national construction practice, became managing partner of the Denver office in March. In 2009, the Denver office relocated to the historic Lower Downtown (LoDo) district to accommodate the firm’s continuing growth and support the area’s redevelopment.
