Polsinelli Shughart PC welcomes attorney Aaron E. Perry to the firm’s national health care practice where he will use his knowledge of the inner workings and practical aspects of hospitals and health systems and the issues they face on a daily basis to help serve the firm’s clients. Perry joins a deep bench of firm attorneys who advise clients in the increasingly complex, ever-changing landscape of health care law and regulatory compliance responsibilities.

Previously, Perry worked in the general counsels’ offices of two large, highly-integrated health systems. He advises health care clients on a wide variety of regulatory, operational and transactional matters, including negotiations of physician and other contracts, physician alignment issues, privacy, fraud and abuse, EMTALA, medical staff matters and government audit programs, including RAC and ICD audits.

Perry earned his law degree from Loyola University School of Law in 2003. He earned a B.A. degree in English from Miami University in 1995. Perry is very involved in his area of law and is a member of the American Bar Association, Health Law Section; the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys; and the American Health Lawyers Association.
