Andrew Stanley strives to find effective solutions for clients in all phases of litigation.   Andrew has significant experience with a variety of complex litigation matters in federal district courts, various state courts, and in alternate dispute resolution.  Andrew primarily represents businesses in insurance coverage actions, environmental cases, and products liability defense.  He also represents both plaintiffs and defendants in other business litigation matters.

Andrew has represented multiple pro bono clients through Community Legal Services, Inc.’s Volunteer Lawyers Program and Children’s Law Center, in cases involving consumer debt claims and guardianship matters.

  • Litigation on behalf of numerous companies in complex insurance coverage, breach of contract, and bad faith actions against insurance carriers.
  • First-chaired a three-day jury trial in federal court involving claims of violation of a prisoner’s civil rights under the Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution through the use of cruel and unusual punishment. Previously represented another prisoner plaintiff in litigation involving similar claims, resulting in settlement.
  • Defense of recreational products manufacturer in lawsuit alleging toxic exposure to Beryllium.
  • Defense of transfusion medicine organization in products liability claims.
  • Litigation resulting in settlement involving cost recovery and contribution for groundwater contamination under CERCLA and state law theories.
