Caitlin Morgan focuses on finding creative solutions to complex problems. Caitlin has represented a wide range of clients, including private colleges, collegiate sports conferences, and hotel owners as well as publicly-traded and closely held corporations. Caitlin’s practice focuses on general commercial litigation and she has significant experience in representing clients in antitrust, class action, and sports cases as well as general business and contract disputes.
  • Representing The Big 12 Conference and Conference USA in multiple class actions and appeals that challenge NCAA rules related to student-athlete financial aid.
  • Successfully obtained pre-suit deposition orders for clients to investigate potential claims prior to filing a lawsuit.
  • Won an appeal of a trial court verdict and order resulting in a new trial in state court.

  • After months of heated motion practice and discovery disputes, leveraged a multi-million dollar settlement for assisted nursing facility providers in case involving breach of contract and federal discrimination.
  • Provided advice to client – a private college – as to how best to manage a potential whistleblower claim to avoid litigation. No litigation was commenced.
  • Successfully negotiated settlement of oil and gas lease dispute with large oil and gas company in case involving breach of contract and suit on sworn account.
