Over the course of his 25-year career, Greg Nickell has closed more than 1,500 real estate secured loans in 30-plus states.

Greg has helped lending clients close loans, and he has nearly a decade of experience assisting conduit lenders and loan servicers in navigating the issues involved in commercial mortgage securitizations.

His legal advice is always tempered by his real world experience, which allows him to incorporate practicalities in assisting clients in determining an effective course of action when faced with difficult legal or business issues.

  • Assisted a national conduit lender in determining appropriate actions when faced with a ground lease shopping center loan where the ground lessor was subject to a federal tax lien.
  • Assisted a national conduit lender in structuring three loans totaling $74 million and secured by 10 separate hotel properties in multiple states.
  • Assisted in negotiating loan applications, drafted the client’s loan closing handbook and form loan documents, kept its closing policies and procedures and loan documents updated, and provided advice with respect to loan closings.
  • Closed more than 1,500 real estate secured loans in more than 30 states.
  • Represented client in connection with its sale of loans in Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities transactions.
