Dr. John Campbell, Ph.D. manages patent portfolios, advises clients in connection with freedom-to operate opinions, conducts in-depth landscape analyses, prepares license agreements, prosecutes patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, coordinates prosecution activities of foreign associates, and assists with patent-related litigation matters. John is experienced with developing and protecting intellectual property positions in U.S. and foreign jurisdictions, with a particular focus on inventions related to the life sciences, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices, and the food and feed industries.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, John practiced as an associate in the Chicago office of an international law firm. Prior to that John worked in small and mid-sized companies throughout the mid-west (Colorado, Wisconsin, and Illinois), in both research and management positions, as well as serving on scientific advisory and executive boards of directors. He has authored and co-authored numerous research papers and is a named inventor on multiple U.S. and foreign patents.
