Kathy Hardee’s litigation experience spans more than 25 years, representing clients in the food industry, toxic and mass tort litigation, product liability issues, business disputes and transportation disputes.  Ever monitoring and writing on changes in food laws, Kathy serves as a risk manager, and should the need arise, she has extensive nationwide trial experience    

Kathy often serves as national litigation counsel for clients and defends them in disputes, as well as represents them at trial across the country. She also works with and advises clients in an attempt to reduce litigation exposure and she is a trained mediator.

She serves a variety of clients that include:

  • Food industry manufacturers, producers, and distributors
  • Businesses in commercial disputes
  • Product manufacturers who have been or could be sued for injuries relating to those products
  • Businesses doing work on a national or international basis
  • Officers and directors
  • Businesses looking to proactively work to minimize their liability risks
  • Transportation carriers and brokers
  • Represented a food manufacturer against claims that their manufacturing processes caused injuries.
  • Represented food additive company against claims their product caused injury. 
  • Assisted in pet food recall. 
  • Assisted in review of proposed FDA regulations and help to analyze whether to lodge public comment.
  • Represented a manufacturer in products liability litigation. 
  • Represented multiple clients in wrongful death cases arising from asbestos exposure. 
  • Represented a sports equipment manufacturer in wrongful death case alleging product defect. 
  • Represented plaintiff in products liability case in which plaintiff was seriously injured by defect in manufacturing machinery. 
  • Ongoing representation of various clients relating to disputes in transportation law.
