Kelley has always had a love for science and the technical arts. Learning about new technology and figuring out the best way to protect it is a highlight of her practice.

Patent prosecution, both domestically and internationally, opinion work, and patent strategy are the focus of Kelley’s practice. Areas of experience include biological arts, chemical arts, medical technology, food science, and health-related technology. Kelley’s background in genetics and experience working in a lab allows her to relate to clients and help them protect their patentable inventions. Kelley feels fortunate to work in one of the largest animal health corridors in the country and has extensive experience working in the animal health industry.

Assisting in the protection of trademarks when a client is selecting a trademark for a new business venture, launching a product line, or growing a brand is another area where Kelley focuses her practice. She believes that relationships with clients, learning their business, and being able to provide overall strategy for protecting intellectual property rights provides a great value to her clients.
