He represents developers, owners, purchasers, landlords, tenants, borrowers, one of the largest manufacturers and wind turbine service providers, and lenders in their transactions.

  • Developer with respect to the acquisition of a vacant parcel of land and subsequent design, construction, and development of the new research facility to be located on such parcel.
  • Industrial manufacturer with a manufacturing contract for goods and components from material supplier.
  • Large publically traded lender with its real estate and operational loan transactions in Illinois and other jurisdictions.
  • Danish wind turbine manufacturer and related United States subsidiaries in connection with their national, international, and offshore wind turbine equipment supply transactions and related contracts.
  • Purchaser of real estate for client's food manufacturing facility in North Carolina.
  • Lessees and lessors on negotiation of various commercial/industrial leases nationally.
  • Owners and purchasers with drafting of various easements, covenants, declarations, and restrictions with utilities and other applicable parties.
  • International liquor distributor with respect to domestic real estate aspects of the sale of its operations and assets for more than $400 million.
  • Owners, contractors, and lenders in drafting and negotiating of design-build, architect’s agreements, and other construction contracts for projects located in Illinois and other jurisdictions/
  • Represented large publicly traded retailer with respect to its lease and construction related litigation disputes.

  • Represented a senior lender for construction loans for properties located in Florida, Illinois, Hawaii, New Jersey, and California.
  • Represented a seller of six Florida properties that involved the simultaneous commercial defeasance of each property.
  • Represented seller of an 18-building apartment complex in Illinois.
  • Assisted Heckmann Corporation negotiate a re-financing of its current $160 million credit agreement (term and recover) in favor of a new $150 million revolving only facility.
  • Assisting a client with the acquisition by merger of Badlands Energy, LLC d/b/a Powerfuels.
