  • Represented private investment companies and funds making mezzanine loans on, and preferred equity investments in, apartments, office buildings, parking garages, self-storage facilities, condominiums, new construction projects, and industrial buildings.
  • Represented a Midwest casino as borrower in connection with a several hundred million dollar refinancing and expansion.
  • Represented a lender in the several hundred million dollar refinancing of a portfolio of resort hotels in Mexico.
  • Represented a major insurance company subsidiary in the several hundred million dollar financing of a portfolio of industrial properties in Mexico.
  • Represented an Australian investment fund in the negotiation of a United States joint venture followed by the purchase and financing by the venture of a multibillion dollar portfolio of 150 U.S. shopping centers from CalPERS.
  • Represented an Australian fund in creation of a United States joint venture, acquisition, and financing of over four million square feet of Class A office space in Southern California.
  • Represented an Australian insurance company affiliate in a multibillion dollar refinancing secured by equity interests in United States property owning subsidiaries.
  • Represented a global financial company in the creation of a tax-advantaged institutional enhanced property fund investing in all classes of United States real property, including forward purchases, new construction, and sale-lease backs.
  • Represented a major financial company in creating joint ventures with nationally recognized development companies for development and construction of investment properties.
  • Represented the purchaser of the entire Equity Officer Denver portfolio.
  • Represented bondholders in the construction financing of a new major league baseball stadium.
