Tracey Truitt focuses on long-term strategies to maximize and protect the value of clients’ intellectual property assets. He first understands their business and goals so that he can analyze their intellectual property and develop strategies beneficial to the business’ bottom line. Tracey maintains long-standing relationships with clients, serving many for more than a decade. In his patent prosecution practice, Tracey’s understanding of the invention, the technology surrounding the invention, and his overriding knowledge of the clients’ goals and business allows him to advise each client how best to pursue protection.  He enjoys visiting the U.S. Patent Office as often as possible to present his arguments in person to the Examiner in charge of the application.
