  • Represented large hospitality company in the development of a mixed-use hotel, retail and condominium project, including the negotiation and documentation of a redevelopment agreement with the city and joint venture agreement with development company, the issuance of federal and state historic tax credits and TIF bonds to subsidize financing of project costs, obtaining Brownfield tax credits to subsidize environmental remediation, and the negotiation of a license agreement with large hotel chain.
  • Represented "green" construction firm in the development of a Platinum LEED certificated mixed-use retail, office and residential development project in the City of St. Louis.
  • Represented large St. Louis based medical group in the acquisition and rezoning of retail property in Crestwood, Missouri and the development, leasing and financing of a mixed-use medical building.
  • Represented international firm in the negotiation of $15 million lease transaction in Columbia, Maryland.
  • Negotiated joint venture agreement between developer and retailer in connection with major retail development in St. Louis County.
  • Represented developer in acquisition, assemblage and approval of mixed-use development site in Maryland Heights as part of TIF redevelopment project.
  • Represented numerous developers in connection with the acquisition, assemblage and land use approval of retail and other commercial developments in St. Louis County. 
  • Represented numerous clients in connection with zoning and other land use matters before municipal governments, including the rezoning of a $40 million commercial property in Clayton, Missouri.
  • Represented redevelopment corporation in multi-parcel land exchange involving historic property in St. Louis City.
  • Represented condominium developer in connection with historic, mixed-use redevelopment project near Saint Louis University.
  • Represented numerous clients in connection with tax deferred, "like-kind" exchanges of real property under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Represented developers in connection with TIF, TDD, NID and other forms of public financing.
  • Represented owners and investors in connection with the purchase, sale, development and financing of multi-family projects in various states.

  • Represented property owners in eminent domain proceedings in St. Louis City and County, including case involving attempt by local government to condemn historic property.
  • Represented owners and tenants of commercial properties in landlord-tenant actions in Missouri and Illinois.
  • Represented large commercial developer in quiet title action regarding enforceability of easement rights.
  • Represented developer and city in condemnation action to acquire property interest under Missouri's TIF statute.
