About Our Speakers:

Bruce R. Hopkins specializes in the areas of corporate law and taxation with an emphasis on nonprofit organizations. His clients include charitable and educational organizations, hospitals, associations, colleges, universities, other health care providers, religious organizations, business and professional associations and private foundations. Many nonprofit organizations retain Bruce as general counsel; others use his services as special tax and/or fundraising counsel.

 

Douglas K. Anning is Vice Chair of the firm’s Nonprofit Organizations group. He advises companies on their general tax and corporate law needs, navigates private and family foundations through complex IRS requirements and regulations, serves as general advisor and counselor to a number of nonprofit organizations and consults with health care organizations regarding myriad regulatory requirements. In addition, Doug has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions, transactional matters and structuring joint ventures.
