Troy B. Froderman chairs the Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith Litigation and Environmental Litigation practice groups for the firm, in addition to having an active and complex litigation practice. His insurance practice focuses on assisting clients in seeking and obtaining coverage for commercial claims throughout the country. This practice also includes significant experience in pursuing a wide array of tort and contractual claims for indemnification. Mr. Froderman's jury trial experience includes more than sixty lawsuits for toxic tort injuries, insurance recovery, complex litigation, and environmental cost recovery.
In his environmental practice, Mr. Froderman is lead counsel in defense of toxic tort claims in state, federal and tribal causes of action throughout the United States. Mr. Froderman has extensive experience related to infectious diseases and outbreaks. He regularly consults and defends clients on water-borne and airborne related diseases. He has represented clients dealing with a myriad of issues, including Legionella outbreaks, e-coli matters, mold infestation and water bacteria claims. Among various clientele, Mr. Froderman represents the hotel industry worldwide on these and other related matters.
Mr. Froderman is a sought after speaker and author for various CLE programs covering all areas of environmental reporting and litigation, as well as insurance coverage matters on a variety of subjects. Prior to attending law school, he worked for U.S. Rep. John T. Myers of Indiana’s 7th District.
Additionally, Mr. Froderman chairs the pro bono efforts for the firm.
