Virginia C. Gross

Within the practice of business law, Virginia C. Gross concentrates on tax matters and nonprofit organizations law.  Ms. Gross handles the formation, structuring, qualification, combination, merger, disposition, reorganization and other business tax planning for entities.   For profit businesses turn to Ms. Gross for advice on tax issues, while varied nonprofit clients seek her counsel on tax-exempt matters. 

 

Nonprofit clients include charitable and educational organizations, private foundations, associations, supporting organizations, medical research and other health care organizations, and social welfare organizations.  Ms. Gross counsels tax-exempt organizations on issues regarding their structure, operations, fundraising, unrelated business income planning, joint venturing and partnering, and use of supporting organizations and for profit subsidiaries.  She counsels many nonprofit boards of directors on governance matters.  In addition, Ms. Gross has extensive experience in tax planning for like-kind exchanges and other real estate tax matters.
