Zachary A. Abeles concentrates his practice in the areas of general business and corporate matters.
He advises clients in all types and sizes of business entities and in a variety of industries, including manufacturers, food distributors, benefits plan administrators, restaurants, bulk packaging operations, grocery stores, and banks and bank holding companies.
Clients seek Mr. Abeles’ counsel and services on any number of strategic and day-to-day issues like initial formation, structure, reorganization, capital raising, and acquisitions and sales, as well as shareholder disputes and succession planning.
With respect to his work with banks and bank holding companies, Mr. Abeles is intimately involved in all regulatory matters, issues surrounding the Small Business Lending Fund and TARP, de novo charters, bank holding company formations, conversions of corporations to S corporation tax status, and the acquisition and sale of banks and bank holding companies, including bank branches.
