In October 2023, the EPA finalized two rules pertaining to PFAS, commonly referred to as “forever chemicals,” which requires broad recordkeeping and reporting requirements to the federal government. Companies are responsible for these requirements for manufacturing OR importing products with PFAS going back to January 1, 2011. This reporting is due summer of 2025. Adam Troutwine and Jake Levin shared a brief overview of new PFAS Rulemakings; important deadlines and information on new PFAS rulemakings relating to the RV industry and how to comply; potential rulemakings to come; and draft risk evaluation.
