Asma S. Ali advises businesses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, private equity and venture capital matters. She works with clients across a range of industries, drawing on both her legal experience and business background to help them navigate corporate transactions and governance matters.
Before entering private practice, Asma served in the Michigan Attorney General's Office, where she drafted circuit court motions and orders, prepared legal memoranda and assisted with governance matters, including developing bylaws for the Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs. She earned both her J.D. and MBA, with a concentration in finance, providing her with an understanding of the business and financial considerations that inform corporate transactions.
