Casandra Carpenter represents various lenders, funds, commercial real estate loans, master servicers, and special servicers in transactions involving mezzanine and other subordinate debt financings, loan participations and other co-lender arrangements, whole loan sales, post-closing modifications, work-outs, and securitization. She has a broad practice in both over-the-counter derivatives transactions and in capital market transactions with derivatives elements.
Casandra focuses her practice on:
- Syndicate, bank and securitized lending
- Loan on loan financing and repurchase lines
- Preferred equity
- Debt funds
- Commercial mortgage servicing
She has experience in negotiation and documentation of ISDA master agreements, master repurchase agreements, collateral, and other credit support documents.
She assists clients in various transactional activities including documentation of structured transactions, credit default swaps, credit-linked notes, interest swaps, floors and collars, asset swaps, and total return swaps. She is a regular speaker on a variety of issues affecting real estate finance.
