Anyone who invests in or operates real estate, a small business or a nonprofit is going to be affected by the Corporate Transparency Act. Kansas City-area lawyers are warning companies not to ignore it.

"This is going to impact just about everyone who reads the Kansas City Business Journal," Quick said. "Nearly every client at our firm is going to be impacted in some way because it affects both the companies and the individuals who have ownership interest or who directly manage companies."
