Eliza Dawson is a real estate finance attorney who focuses her practice on negotiating and drafting a broad range of contracts spanning all aspects of the life cycle of a commercial real estate asset, with an emphasis on the servicing of commercial mortgaged-backed securities (CMBS) loans.
Eliza has experience representing CMBS master and special servicers on a variety of matters, including loan modifications, transfers and loan assumptions, partial releases, subordination and non-disturbance agreements and property management agreements. She also routinely assists lenders and loan servicers with the disposition of real estate owned (REO) properties and properties held in receivership by drafting and negotiating Purchase and Sale Agreements, reviewing title work and preparing for and coordinating the closing of such transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Eliza was a summer associate at Polsinelli.
