Acquiring or merging with a company is challenging. If not handled properly, it may result in unnecessary setbacks. This session takes into account not only traditional corporate and structuring considerations, but also the additional layers of licensure, provider enrollment and other regulatory specific considerations that are part of executing transactions in the highly-regulated health care industry. Whether buying, selling or partnering, owners and operators need to understand what they need to be doing to mitigate risks and ensure a fair transaction.

This session will cover due diligence checklists—buyer and seller considerations while peeling back the onion to truly understand the purchase and red flags on both sides of a transaction.
