Jordan Haas focuses his practice and advises clients on real estate, asset-based lending, and real estate finance matters. Drawing on his business background, Jordan brings a practical business mindset and provides strategic, comprehensive advice to complex legal issues. His experience guiding institutional investors, national banks, lenders, developers and local governments through complex transactional and development-related issues provides an informed insight valuable to clients. Jordan routinely handles purchase and sale transactions, asset-based lending, real estate finance, large-scale project financing and development transactions, and has worked on renewable energy and data center projects.
Jordan also brings significant previous in-house title insurance experience, including the oversight and review of due diligence documents, closing files, title policies, agency and underwriting agreements and the coordination of title dispute resolutions involving insureds, agents and local counsel.
Jordan’s practice is further informed by prior work in both transactional and litigation settings. He has counseled national landlords on commercial leasing, property management and eviction matters, represented clients before the Kansas Board of Tax Appeals, advised on corporate governance matters, and handled litigation tasks ranging from pleadings and motions to court hearings, trials, mediations and bankruptcy-related matters.
