Lindsay Gorman supports the intellectual property practice with an emphasis on electrical engineering & computer science prosecution. Her responsibilities include:
- assisting with the preparation and filing of U.S. Provisional, U.S. Non-Provisional, National Stage, PCT and foreign applications;
- preparation and filing of office action responses; and
- managing the communication related to the full patent prosecution lifecycle for foreign and U.S. applications, in addition to her other department support.
She has assisted in prosecuting numerous patent applications in diverse technologies.
Lindsay is also the lead intellectual property department trainer. She is responsible for training all new hires, including continued mentorship after initial training has been completed. Lindsay also assists with the development and implementation of training for the entire department.
Before joining Polsinelli, Lindsay worked as a paralegal at several law firms where she assisted numerous practitioners prosecute patents in their electrical engineering, chemistry and life sciences, and mechanical engineering practices. She has been in the legal field for more than 13 years and has a strong intellectual property background.
