Missouri, Kansas Should Change Law to Allow Benefit Corporation

Capitalism is evolving. There is a growing demand from business owners and consumers for corporations that do more than maximize profits for shareholders. They want corporations to also institutionalize a commitment to provide social and environmental benefits to our communities. Twenty states have amended their laws to accommodate this evolution. Missouri and Kansas should too.
