February 26, 2015
Polsinelli announced today that Denver shareholder and intellectual property (IP) attorney Timothy Worrall was selected as the exclusive 2015 Client Choice award winner, presented by Lexology and International Law Office (ILO), for Intellectual Property: Patents Law in Colorado.

Since 2005, the Client Choice Awards have recognized those law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client service they provide. Uniquely, the Client Choice Awards survey senior corporate counsel only, with criteria for the awards focusing on the ability to add real value to clients' business above and beyond other players in the market.

“We are thrilled that Tim has been recognized for truly stellar support of client relationships and needs,” said Greg Durbin, Denver Shareholder and Vice Chair of the Intellectual Property practice at Polsinelli. “At Polsinelli, client satisfaction is the cornerstone of our business and Tim goes above and beyond in his work to help clients grow and succeed. The addition of his skills and insights continue to be a great benefit to our growing Intellectual Property practice.”

Worrall was one of a select few IP attorneys honored out of a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments conducted by senior corporate counsel surveyed for the awards. Clients were asked to rate lawyers and law firms on quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology.

Worrall’s Colorado and nationwide intellectual property practice specializes in developing and analyzing patent portfolios to generate value for companies and investors. Worrall develops patent portfolios that protect rapidly developing technology to preserve the value of a company’s assets. Worrall also provides patent opinions and strategic assessments in both litigation and non-litigation contexts. Worrall’s intellectual property due diligence practice focuses on generating value for assets for both investors and companies.

Worrall holds a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and law degree from the University of California – Berkeley (Boalt Hall). Worrall was previously a Patent Examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office Washington D.C. office.
