Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli welcomes seasoned attorneys David Cykiert, Adam J. Greene and Jason P. Katz as the latest high-profile additions to the firm’s rapidly growing New York office. All three join the firm as Shareholders; Katz and Greene joining the firm’s Corporate & Transactional Group and Cykiert joining the Venture Capital and Emerging Growth Group.

David Cykiert has a lengthy career leveraging his combined legal and business background to support clients in a broad range of transactions and is committed to providing comprehensive legal advice. His representation spans a myriad of products and services, including software/hardware, real estate, consumer goods, hospitality, and service businesses. Dedicated to his clients’ needs and interests, he is comfortable starting client relationships at every business life-cycle stage, from pre-concept, to pre-revenue, to pre-capital raise to pre-exit, and is proficient at guiding and leading all nature of corporate transactions at and in between each such stage.

Cykiert was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2017 and earned his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University before obtaining his J.D. from Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Adam Greene has deep experience representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies in a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and preferred equity investments. Additionally, he is active in the private investment fund area, representing both financial sponsors and institutions in secondary transactions, and co-investments. He also advises early and growth stage companies and investors in venture and growth capital financings and serves as outside general counsel to emerging growth and established operating companies. Greene also represents theater owners as well as filmmakers, publishers, writers and illustrators in intellectual property matters.

Greene earned his bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College before obtaining his J.D. from Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Jason Katz focuses his practice on providing strategic counsel to public and private companies on a wide range of domestic and international transactions and corporate matters. He represents publicly traded and privately held clients across various industries, including telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, software, insurance, apparel, and manufacturing.

Katz brings expanded multinational reach to Polsinelli’s New York office with his deep experience working on domestic and cross-border purchase/sale transactions, including counseling international clients in connection with purchasing and selling U.S.-based assets. He has extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements and helping clients find pragmatic solutions to legal and business challenges. He regularly represents start-up companies and investors in venture capital transactions, early-stage financings, and strategic exits, including multi-national corporations in strategic investments.

Katz was recognized among the New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2015-2020. He earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Virginia before obtaining his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Cykiert, Greene and Katz join Polsinelli’s nationally recognized Business Department, comprised of attorneys who provide a range of legal services from selecting the appropriate choice of entity through exit strategies and everything in between during the life cycle of a business.
